Carrot 'Belgian White' is a Flemish heirloom dating back to 1500s. Tapered, long, white root with green shoulder. Mild, sweet flavour. Pick when about 20cm long. Carrots are biennial but are usually grown as annuals for their edible roots. If you wish to collect seed, you will need an extra year to harvest it.
