Coastal Canthium is a slow growing, rainforest tree, to 15 metres, found from Jervis Bay to Northern Queensland. Edible fruits turn bright pink then ruby red on maturity. Fruits must be fully ripe; like soft apples in texture. Use fresh or dried.
