Eggplant 'Thai Pea' is an heirloom originating in Thailand. Sometimes called 'turkey berry' or 'sundakkai'. Small, round, green fruit, with darker markings, to 5cm. Can be eaten raw but usually cooked. Used in Vietnamese and Thai cooking. Eggplants are frost-tender perennials, usually grown as annuals in western Sydney.
