Lettuce 'Reine des Glaces', literally 'Ice Queen', is a French heirloom, iceberg-style lettuce. Lacy, dark-green outer leaves. Excellent crunch and good flavour. Smaller than shop-bought iceberg lettuce; leaves less closely wrapped. Iceberg lettuces will not produce hearts in warm weather.
