Murnong is an Australian native root vegetable, also known as 'yam daisy". Once prolific along the east coast, it is now rare. The plants will grow in full sun or part shade. The root is harvested and used in much the same way as potato. Seed should be refrigerated at 4*C for 2-3 weeks before sowing. Keep consistently moist and warm until germination occurs.
